I discovered Reiki in 1998 at a Healing Arts fair in Newcastle upon Tyne. I decided to train in this gentle yet effective therapy, which enabled me to become a practitioner after a period of practice. Through this practice I learned of the power of this gentle therapy. The main things I noticed were that my clients felt immediate and enduring benefits in a range of health conditions; Reiki also helped on emotional levels, improving ability to cope.

Besides running my own practice, I currently use Reiki in a range of settings providing information and taster sessions for health awareness groups, complementary health fairs and community groups. In addition I work with other local health professionals - GPs, homeopaths, osteopaths, aromatherapists, reflexologists, physiotherapists and chiropractors and have also worked with BBC Watchdog HealthCheck evaluating the effectiveness of REIKI therapy. I am an associate member of the UK Reiki Federation which provides the code of practice for Reiki practitioners and lots of useful information.
